When I find myself explaining to my spouses the scheme I use for the breakdown of the budget, I stop to explain that this tool will be different for each couple in relation to their needs and priorities.
Yes, because each couple will recognize a different importance to every detail based on their desires and traditions, but also based on their guests. No one knows them better than you and knows what they will appreciate, what should be avoided and what they will remember with pleasure.
However, my experience has taught me that there are some aspects that almost automatically become fixed in the memory of each guest and they are mainly those that:
- they really make a difference through little attention
- make the day pleasant, comfortable and welcoming
- (or those that make it unforgettable, unfortunately, for a bad episode)
- I will try to group them into three macro-categories.
Atmosphere

The atmosphere of the party includes many factors: the environment, the music and the organization of the timing.
The environment, the location, its comfort and its charm, its spaces and lighting, is what is first captured by your guests.
And then music and entertainment, fundamental elements to develop a pleasant atmosphere in a well-structured day, planned with a balance between activities and breaks that do not cause boredom or embarrassment.
Food
Obviously this is also a detail that does not go unnoticed, if you think about it, you will spend a lot of time at the table or in any case in the reception phase.
The food must be good and tasty, a fair balance between abundance and refinement, because it must be able to meet most tastes and not become an obstacle to the success of the event.
The service formulas change over the years and in recent years savory buffets, dessert buffets and open bars have been introduced to enrich and vary the more traditional proposals.
Beauty

And then… the eye also wants its part. The critical eyes of your guests will be attentive to even the smallest details, so it will be better that you study everything carefully (from graphics to printing, from accessories for guests to flowers, from sets to favors). In this area there are thousands of solutions, ideas, preparations: my advice is to choose what you really believe to be inevitable and essential, which you really don’t want to give up, and once you have chosen it you will have to do it well, follow all the details with meticulous care: only in this way no guest will be able to find “fault”. Better to prefer quality over quantity.
In short, summing up: the context, the flow of the day enlivened by music and the wedding banquet, and the care you have placed in the organization will be what everyone will easily remember – in addition to how beautiful the bride will obviously be.
However, it is a very long speech, if you want to deepen it contact me: I will be able to help you already through a dedicated consultancy.
